Kurdish political prisoner, Shaker Behrouz is a 33-year-old who was arrested in March, 12, 2019 by the Urmia Intelligence service. In 2020, he was transferred to Urmia Central Prison after completing the interrogation process. Behrouz has been sentenced to death, accused for being in opposition of the IR. In late November 2022, Behrouz was again transferred to an unknown location. Amnesty fears that the IR authorities plan to carry out his death sentence.
