Toomaj Salehi is an Iranian hip hop artist mostly known for his protest songs concerning Iran's societal issues and the policies of the government. Salehi was last arrested on October 30th, 2022, during the protests. Salehi was reportedly charged with "propagandistic activity against the government, cooperation with hostile governments and forming illegal groups with the intention of creating insecurity in the country".
